Re: Pre-planning stages of BCS based homebrewery
I love those pots and that's a great price I just finished a panel. I would suggest a giant enclosure. Make sure you drill enough holes for growth. I put in slur connections for temp, valves and float. I think 10 in total. I also set myself up for control of three pumps, not just two...even tho I ha...

Re: 4.0 Public Beta Issues
Duty cycle off by a decimal place.
I'm running the beta and couldn't get my boil under control. I usually run at about 45% and it was boiling like mad.
I've reduced it to 4 or 5 and it's now operating as I expect.
Weird. Anyone else?
I've set the duty cycle in both Safari and Chrome.

Re: Variables in either BCS or BCS recipe utility
Does anyone know where the mappings of process/state/value to variable mapping is stored? I have the recipe loader working the way I want...but I don't get how to back up the work I did today. Every time I close my browser the settings are still there. I've taken screenshots, but that will require r...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 1
I often switched to manual mode for my brew phase so I could adjust the duty cycle on my element. With manual mode going away...what will others do? I guess I could make states for different duty cycles? I do 5 and 10 gallon batches...I'm fairly new at BCS, but logic tells me that I will need a dif...

Re: Variables in either BCS or BCS recipe utility
Awesome. I tried that and I didn't get the results I expected. It could've been that my BCS was confused...because I had to reset it shortly thereafter.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Variables in either BCS or BCS recipe utility
I've been anxiously awaiting BCS 4.0 and have been playing with it a little since it went public beta. I also played with BCS Recipe Utility. I like things so far...the BCS code has some really nice changes. One thing I've noticed is the difficulty to modify my processes for a particular recipe. Jus...

Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
Is the 4.0 firmware going to break any HMI building I do? I'm about to start a project to create javascript so that the appropriate hose/pump connectivity is shown for each process. I'd rather not go thru all the trouble if a firmware update was soon coming out that breaks this...or makes it tons ea...

Re: "Next" input to step thru states
I have two data points.
First...I'm a newb and the process wasn't running
Second...the process in the picture doesn't respond to DIN0. The next state where the DIN0 check is the first condition works.
Does that make sense?

"Next" input to step thru states
I'm struggling with a "Next" button in DIN0 that I have wired up.
The BCS recognizes the button push...shows it on the main page as a green light on DIN0.
My process logic shows that I move to the next state on DIN0 = ON. I don't get what I'm missing.
Any help?
