Re: Powering bcs-482
I am curious about this as well. The positive line is self explanatory. However the 12V negative is connecting to the ground of the BCS in order to power the BCS. Do I dare treat the other ground terminals as a ground and run them to the grounding DIN's / bus bar? When I have tried this in the past ...

Re: Selling my BCS-460 with temp probes
Love these units. I have two 460’s, a 462 and a 482. Good purchase!

Reset / Updated firmware and digital displays read “no data”
BCS-462 locked up 8 hours after setting port to 81. Had not enabled port forwarding on router so no outside communication could have interfered at this time. Reset BCS and on start up performed restore but displays continued to read no data. Performed firmware upgrade to 4.1.2 and went through displ...

Re: HMI Builder available in 4.0?
Don’t know why but this has always been difficult for me to get to work. I have two older 460’s running firmware 3.6.* & 3.7.* with a cloned HMI link. Looking to configure my 462 with the configuration you and I last worked on utilizing fiddler and a row of fermenters. Looking to implement this ...

Re: Preventing the BCS from rapid ON / OFF with VFD on same circuit
Completely independent and not running pump cart power cord near the temp probes or solenoid wires. The BCS-462 running in the control panel in question today is controlling a 10bbl and two 20bbl fermenters. Only the 10bbl ferm program was on with a delicious IPA inside. The pump cart was no where n...

Preventing the BCS from rapid ON / OFF with VFD on same circuit
What is the best way to prevent a BCS from triggering rapid relay ON/OFF ( from temps bouncing ) due to the polarity caused from a VFD, pump cart on the same circuit. It is plugged into a plug on the opposite wall but all ties into the same circuit breaker box. Have this happening at multiple locati...

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)
Received the power supply with just the plug. Brewers Hardware confirmed we need to cut the cord. Do we plug in (wire#1)to one of the far left plugs 12v and the second wire to ground?
