When is the next scheduled update?
I'm finishing up this week on my automated brew stand and just getting into doing the all the programming on the BCS-462. I know one of the things that you listed in the errata for v3.1 said that the descriptions of the temp probes for the 462 was wrong. Is just the description wrong and the actuall...

Re: Toggle Switch Wiring Question
Here's a little diagram on using the On/Off/Auto switch to switch power to the SSR.
I prefer it this way as then you are only running the high voltage to the SSR and all other switching is low voltage.

Do you have an ETA for the next rev?

Re: Selector Switch for multiple temp probes?
Use a DPDT Relay. You need to make sure that the 5V coil pulls less than 20 mA of currrent.

Re: Wire 2 ssrs in parrallel with one dout
According to the Crydom D2425 SSR specs, each SSR uses 3.4 mA of current. According to the BCS wiki, each D-OUT can provide 20 mA. Using two SSR's on one D-OUT is well within the acceptable range.

Re: Selector Switch for multiple temp probes?
Each temp probe should be calibrated for accuracy, but if you have two that are close enough, then it should work fine. If you used a DPDT relay to switch the active probe, then you could use a BCS output to automatically do the selection for you.

Re: Relays on EBAY
Curious as well - I need 8 to 10 SSR's.
Re: Brewbuddy
Is BrewBuddy updated to work with the additional temp probes, I/O's & processes of the BCS-462?

Re: Force Run at Powerup needs new processes added
Yeah, I guess CIP is a bit of a misnomer as I do plan on pulling the MLT & BK to hose out before putting back in place to run the CIP.

Re: Force Run at Powerup needs new processes added
It's not done yet as I'm still working on getting the automation valves I need. However, the plan is that I can put water, PBW, StarSan, etc. in the HLT and run a recirc, then transfer it to the MLT, recirc, then transfer to the brew kettle, recirc, then out through the heat exchanger. I have 3 pump...
