Re: Recipe Utility making me crazy
Is this recipe utility still in beta testing or is it ready to rip with firmware 4.0? Going to be purchasing a BCS-462 soon and would like to use the recipe tool to import settings at once for different beers. Thank you in advance!!!

Re: Best fluid sensor for RIMS
What type of "fluid sensor" are you talking about? Float switch? Flow switch? Level sensor? I see some RIMS systems with a fluid sensor port and some that split in half that can accommodate a sight glass. If it is manually throttle from the wort grant it can be managed easily enough with ...

Best Float Switch for Wort Grant?

Best fluid sensor for RIMS
Has anyone ever used a fluid sensor connected to their BCS-460/462? What models or brands work the best? This would go in a RIMS

Re: Issue Accessing BCS Remotely
I am using dyndns and port forwarding on my home router. There is a netgear range extender in place now. The internal network access as well as remote works fine. I am using dyndns as I do not have a static IP from my ISP. I do notice once a month my range extender needs a reboot but other than that...

Hoping there will be an updated release soon. Going to purchase another BCS and keep the one I have just the way it is. Looking forward to exporting recipes into the BCS.

Re: Normal temp probe fluctuations?
There is a post in here already about this and it just resolved my same issue. Find an earth ground and connect it to one of the grounds on the BCS. Mine stabilized immediately.

What Solenoid to use for Glycol inlet on Jacketed Fermenter'
I have found lots of solenoids but very few that fall into the temp range used when running glycol ( 28F ) for an affordable price. What solenoids do you guys use or recommend? Running three Glycol jacketed fermenters, recirulating with a Perlick 4410 and setting up a BCS-460. This is the only solen...
