Re: Digital LCD Fan Tachometer Display
Thanks. I'm looking at the Arctic F14 PWM case fans. I was hoping the on-board fan processor could send a conditioned signal to a simple panel-mounted LED tach display via wire to the fan TACH harness pin. If i need a microprocessor, it doesn't seem worth the bother just to know the fan RPM https://...

Digital LCD Fan Tachometer Display
I am setting up a fermenter chamber with a PWM fan(s) controlled by the BCS. PWM fans have a fourth pin for a tachometer signal. Does anyone know of a digital tach display that can accept the PWM fan output tach signal? Also, I assume that the BCS doesn't accept tach signals and that I would need a ...

Pressure Input
I ferment under pressure for lagers and was wondering if the BCS-460 accepts pressure sensor input signals. I would like to collect pressure data just as one would collect temperature data for logging.

Observer Password Allowing Changes
I tested my Observer password by logging on as an Observer and once in, the BCS is allowing changes which is not what I want for an observer. Is there something I'm missing in the setup?

Temperature Log File - access .csv
What is the difference between "Dynamic Mode" and "Data Stored on BCS" options for data logging? How do you use the "Generate File" button? Where can I find the .csv file so that I can use excel to generate graphs?
thanks,
Mike

Re: 5 volt 4-wire PWM fan wiring
thanks - I'm also thinking of using a NOYITO DC 12 v, 2A fan power adapter to power the fan rather than an SSR.

5 volt 4-wire PWM fan wiring
With 5v BCS 460 output, do i need a power supply for the computer 5 v fan to operate in PWM, or can the fan be directly connected to the BCS 460 (bcs 460 powers the fan)?
I'm hacking a fridge for fermentation (heating and cooling)
thanks.
