How to wire a DIN
DIN wiring Wiki: Discrete Inputs are available for switches, push buttons, etc. They are also rated at +5VDC. To assert a Din, connect the Din terminal to the +5VDC terminal (presumably through a switch). To deassert the Din, simply disconnect the Din terminal, as there is a weak pulldown resistor t...

Re: Static IP
I'm a little confused about what you're asking for. To try to clarify what I think you're saying I'm going to refer to the firmware in two pieces, the "device" code is what's running the BCS processes, etc. The "client" code is the web application that you use to connect to the ...

Re: web buttons w/ladder logic?
How do you click on the valve on the UI? By UI I think your are talking about the Web Interface? Do you mean click the Output that is assigned and wired to an SSR controlling the valve.

Re: Process Duration
OK. I can see that I can set up several processes at once, have a different start (spawn) when another is ended (killed). Time is set in minutes and it just displays hh:mm:ss so minutes are the most significant unit. An Timer Init is a "goal" to either count up to or count down from. For e...

Process Duration
Can you have more than one process running at a time? I like to time my brew day and some of the actual times it took to do something, for example the time from flame off on the BK until Wort in Fermenter. Since I would like to hit my "Start Brew Day” button to start a count up timer as Process...

Re: My first Process
Thanks. I simply wrote what I do manually now. I hope to control the temp of the Mash via a gas valve on the HLT. We have in the past have controlled the Mash by the HLT temp. We will only kill the Mash pump if we have a huge overshoot. My idea is to have one state is to maintain Mash temp using the...
