Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes
Hello, I am preparing my new Ebrew system for use and will be doing a general cleaning and rinsing of all components and during that time, I hope to test the accuracy of the BCS displayed temp of each probe vs reading of a Thermapen thermometer. I live in FL, and getting water temp below 72 degrees ...

Re: Howto: Calibrate Temperature Probes
Have you tried upgrading to 4.0?? I'd recommend it. To me it's a huge improvement in everything from the look down to the ease of making edits. And the recipe utility is super sweet. AND for your issue there's a super easy temp calibration utility that makes calibrations as easy as pie... Where doe...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Grrr... well I updated to the latest Firmware a while back. Transferred my settings, but.... I need to re-create all the processes I had been using. Like a big dope, I didn't do this BEFORE I brewed, so now I've got a batch waiting to pitch (my system is for fermentation control). Seems glitchey too...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Thanks.
I power cycled it and it reverted back to previous state. No issues there. However, I can't figure out how to use the TFTP server on either Mac or PC without errors.

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 2
Not sure if this is the correct place to post my issue, but having problems with FW update. I saved my config file from the BCS webpage onto my mac. I nabbed the latest v2 of F/W 4.0 bin file from this thread. I had installed Tftpserver on my macbook I went in Chrome to the BCS and entered Firmware ...

new firmware v4.0?
Is there a new firmware available, even if in beta?
Had heard this rumor, thought it'd be easiest to ask here.

Re: PID display modules
So today I did a little investigation. Recorded the temperatures of all three insulated tanks, each filled with 11-12 gallons water, and been sitting in my basement for several days - no cooling other than house AC unit cycling off - SWMBO has t-stat set at 78 (Its a constant war of wills). So after...

Re: PID display modules
I do have the modules set to unique addresses. As far as other settings would you like to take a peek? I can send you the IP and password to snoop around but would rather not post publicly. I suppose one thing I might do is calibrate the temp probes. Is there a procedure for calibration on all the t...

Re: PID display modules
On my setup, the set temp is not being displayed while a process is running. Also, the current temp doesn't seem to be accurate with what shows on the WebPage interface for the BCS. I am wondering about this. I am using the BCS460 to control fermentation tank temps and a glycol coolant reservoir tem...
