Re: DIGI 16 - EOL or OoS?
That sucks. I had a cool idea to use one to communicate the current state to a companion arduino to perform supplementary functions like volume measurement and flow control. You could use 6 outputs to tell the arduino what the current state was. 6 bits represents 64 unique values, which covers all 8...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 1
Are there any plans for a second 4.0 beta to fix some of the more critical bugs? I had to revert back to 3.7.1 because of the broken duty cycle bug as I need that feature for boiling, so I won't be putting on any more miles on this beta until a fix is released.

Re: 7 segment display settings
I have seen a couple of times now where after setting the temperatures associated with each display, it will revert back to disabled. I haven't noticed yet if it happens while I am editing something on the settings page or just randomly. Can you clarify this a bit more? Not sure what you mean by &q...

Re: Variables in either BCS or BCS recipe utility
Removing the backslash fixed it. Thanks.JonW wrote:I just tested on a 460 and it was fine. It looks like you just need to remove the trailing backslash from your BCS address.crane wrote:OK. Is there anything I can do to figure out how to get this to work then?

Re: Variables in either BCS or BCS recipe utility
I can't seem to get the recipe utility to sync to my BCS. I have gotten the backup/restore, PID tuning, and 3.x configuration migrator to see my BCS just fine. I have a BCS460, does it only work with 462's right now? Yes, it should be working with both the 460/462. OK. Is there anything I can do to...

Wait for input setup is not intuitive
If I enable an exit condition and set it to "web Input" it will say that it couldn't save the setting. It seems that I just enable the exit condition, leave source blank, and then set the next state to wait for input. This is not very intuitive. Does it matter what I set the rest of the fi...

Configuration Migrator issues
I just updated to the 4.0 public beta and use the configuration migrator to reload my 3.7.1 settings. A few things did not get transferred over. 1. One shot checkbox for Din's did not get restored from my 3.7.1 setup. 2. LED displays did not get setup. Everything else seemed to come over fine. Are t...

Re: BCS 4.0 Public Beta 1
Use the utilities--> http://embeddedcc.github.io/bcs-backup/ Super quick and easy to save ALL the processes in one shot... The recipe mapping is a total game changer too. Once you get the variables mapped out its as simple as changing a few numbers for your recipe. Changes are instantaneous too! No...
