Re: Backup/Restore function on firmware 4 vs process save/process restore on 3.7

1. No connect/disconnect Green/Red Radio buttons to let you know if you are still connected. Well that suck I loose connectivity all the time Most people did not notice the color change of no connection. The 4.x firmware now has a prominent message displayed top center when you lose connection. If ...

Re: BCS Recipe Utility not connecting any more - Resolved

The not secure warning is a newer feature in Chrome. Any non-HTTPS site with a password field on it will show as not secure. When the authentication section is shown, there's a password field so it shows not secure. If it's prompting you for authentication it's getting a response from the BCS that a...

Re: BCS Old firmware 3.7.1

The firmware is still available, we just didn't move the wiki to our new server as the old documentation was causing some confusion and support issues.

Here's the link to 3.7.1:

I'm currently using a TP-Link travel router like this one: http://a.co/8g58T9L I've also used a Netgear bridge: http://a.co/3wwomqM (This model has been discontinued, I believe.) Like Jon said, many routers can be configured as a bridge and there are lots of options if you just search for a wifi bri...

Re: Also Having Trouble Connecting

I just attempted direct connection to the unit with my laptop using http://169.254.0.63 and connection timed out. I've never heard of this working for anyone, so that doesn't really tell us anything. More than likely your BCS is fine and you just have some networking issue. There are lights on the ...

Re: TC Probes

I reached out to BH about this. Apparently these are being built right now, with an ETA of 3/2.

They're no longer offering them with m12 connectors, but will offer a conversion adapter and are working on a video to show how to add them.

Re: BCS 4.0.1 firmware released

Well, I would say it's stable and time to upgrade... First things first, back up everything from your BCS. The system config and all the processes. With that config, you can always revert back to 3.7 if you're not happy with 4.0. Coefficients are still around, no HMI, no Web Inputs (but the new inte...

Re: Temperature Probe failure?

I agree with JonW, I'd recommend doing a calibration.

bbrally, one of our forum users, created a great tool using the API to help you do the calibration:

http://calculator.from-ca.com/

There's more discussion about calibration that may help you use it in this thread.
