Re: New Automated Setup

If this was my setup, I would add another pump and eliminate some of the valves and piping. You are going to find the cost for those parts are going to be more than an additional pump. You can add a float switch to the MT. Once the fluid from the HLT rises to a certain level in the MT, the valve wou...

Re: Help with WNEC2001 wireless setup

likely the adapter is grabbing that address for itself (so that it can be configured when it is being used for something besides a computer, such as a game console or BCS) Install guide says you have to use it on a computer that is not connected to any network first: ftp://downloads.netgear.com/fil...

Can anyone provide the purpose of a contactor in a 240v SSR controlled electric brewery? Why are they needed? Are they needed?

Re: Commercial Brewery Monitoring

Right on thanks for the reply! I just hope that even if I buy the latest version, when you come out with new version there is a way to update it without having to pay all over again. No matter what we will go with your product, looks like fun to work with :D Cheers Mario I have been using the BCS46...

Ability to display step on LCD

Would it ever be possible to display the current step of the brewing process on a single line LCD display in any future upgrades of the BCS460 or 462? I am thinking something along the lines of a "computer-less" design use of the BCS. Something that would allow the brewer to use the BCS wi...

Re: bcs 460 wiring diagram( with sabco idea )HELP

I can't offer you any wiring diagrams as that takes much more time than I have. If you browse through the forums, you will see various wiring diagrams people have used and posted for various configurations. Some of the configurations are similar to what you are trying to do. I would like to offer yo...

Re: cant connect to BCS any more

A Hard Reset will bring the BCS-460 back to system default. There is a small access hole in the side of the controller. Using a small non-metallic tool, depress the switch inside the controller. The switch is located at an upward angle, so the non-metallic tool should be tilted slightly. The control...

Re: OK, what do I need??

GBrewer, where did you get that nice 3 tier stand? Did you build it? It will be a while before it is built, but I am sure I will have more questions as I go... Don Don, I did build my stand. I enjoy building stands more than drinking the beer they make. I'm actually starting another stand in a few ...

Re: Power Switch Tail and Pilot Light

I already have a working panel but am planning on a seperate venture. I don't have any parts for the new panel. I would rather not put any extra power loads on the bcs and risk damage to the controller. I want to keep this installation as clean as possible and possibly (not for certain) use a din ra...
