Re: New to ECC. Need wiring help
Driver, This is a very common setup here on the forums and in using the BCS460. The BCS460 will provide the switching to your SSR's to make your heating elements work with your HLT based off the wiring to the SSR. Since you are switching from propane to electric, have you considered the electrical p...

HMI Image
I am not much into the advanced programming of the HMI but enjoy playing with the simple graphic side of implementation. Perhaps we can use this thread to put together some sample background graphics to share? Here's one to start. I have this background hosted on my website. Feel free to link to it ...

Re: Shrink tube type
Thanks Jon. Good advice. I have one that just slides into a compression that has cracked. I need to try your method on my fermentation probe. I use one to slide into the thermowell and had to slice it back a bit.

Shrink tube type
I am looking for replacement shrink tubing that cover the top portion of the probe where the wires enter. (stock BCS 460 probes) I have a probe with the shrink tubing that cracked leaving the wires exposes and another one that looks like it is wearing out. I'd rather not use the black shrink tubing ...

Re: HMI Help
Eatmoshad, The HMI is a fairly new and recent concept with the BCS460/462. There are a few people who have put together fairly nice looking HMI's but creating a custom HMI requires a certain amount of programming knowledge. If you scroll through the forums, you will see some notes and code from peop...

Hops Direct
I've been keeping a close eye on the area hop farms and it's fresh hop season. If you are interested in fresh hops, hopsdirect.com now has most of their 2011 leaf hops available. This is an inexpensive way to purchase hops by the pound. I am not associated with this business but have purchased from ...

Re: RIMS tube PID settings
You need to move your Rims Tube Temperutare probe away from the element. You will not achieve accurate controls with the RIMS Tube probe within 1" of the element.
Which temperature probe is controlling the relay for the element?
