Re: Cannot connect to BCS-460
I should also say that I set the BCS IP address to 192.168.1.6 if that matters

Cannot connect to BCS-460
Hi, I am literally pulling my hair out with this one. I have always connected to BCS through a wireless bridge and it has been fine. For the past month I cannot connect to BCS-460. The BCS finder utility finds it, but then my internet will not connect to the IP address. I have reboot (15s reset) the...

Updating BCS-460
Hi All, I haven't updated by BCS-460 in literally 3 years. If I update the latest firmware image, will that cover all updates from that version and previous updates? Or will I have to individually do each update? IS it worth updating? I have had a fairly consistent brew process for the last years an...

Re: Bouncing Temp Probe
So, it looks like it is a bad probe. Here is a snapshot of me swapping the probe from the Mash Tun (bad one) to the HLT. The same probe gives funky results even in another input. Is this common?

Re: Bouncing Temp Probe
I purchased the probe from Derrin at Brewer's Hardware. I'll have to swap the probe to another input this week, I didn't get a chance to after brewing. That's a good idea. Then we can ascertain if it is the input or the probe. The probe is on a fairly long run of about 5 feet, but two other probes a...

Bouncing Temp Probe
Just in the last 3 weeks, I have been having trouble with 1 of my 4 temperature probes. I am getting drastic temperature fluctuations, up to a 40 degree swing. I double checked all connections into the BCS and the grounds. Still having issues. Any chance one of these probes can go bad? The data log ...

Re: WIFI Option for BCS460
Hey gbrewer,
I bought the same WiFi adapter that you did and I am getting ready to hook it up and fire it up. Any evident problems that I might run into or snags that you came across in hooking up the WiFi adapter to the BCS? Any tips before I fire it up woudl be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Help with wiring the BCS enclosure
Hi Guys, I'm a newbie here and setting up to wire the BCS-460 and my control enclosure. I will be having my electrician friend come over and help me hook everything up, but I am just trying to order parts now. The design I will have is a 120V line coming in off a 30amp circuit. I would like to have ...
