Received the power supply with just the plug. Brewers Hardware confirmed we need to cut the cord. Do we plug in (wire#1)to one of the far left plugs 12v and the second wire to ground?
That's how I powered mine up.

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)

We are going to make new end caps from thinner material. They will be mailed out to any person that is having an issue. Thanks! I did remove the endcap and then was able to get the bottom terminals to "snap" into place(with no endcap installed), so I am sure a thinner endcap will solve my...

I'll give that a try this weekend. The photo was taken after taking it out of the USPS box.

The bottom terminals do not have a snug fit to them no matter how much you push them in. They come out easily. The top terminals are very snug and do not move.

Re: BCS-482 Specifications (replacement for BCS-460/462)

Mine arrived today. Powered it up with the power supply from BH and a network cable in my office to see if I can see the web interface (it's alive!). The bottom terminals are loose, but apparently that is ok, according to BH. The frigid temps are creeping back in for the next several days, but I am ...

Re: New Temp Sensor Replacements/Support

Scott,

I have two 12" temp probes I bought from BrewersHardware, a few years ago that I am not using if you are interested. They have a M8 disconnect on the end of each probe.

Re: BCS 4.1.1 Firmware Released

I tried Solarwinds (Windows) to no effect, and TFTP server on my MAC (but w/HighSierra couldn't get it to work).

I ended up using a spare Raspberry pi with TFTP server to update my BCS.

Re: TC Probes

I apologize for hijacking that thread (Guilty as charged!), I had one too many glasses of a Quad that I recently kegged (We've all been there right?). That and access to the internet doesn't mix... I feel awful about it. In any case, would love to see more TC M12 temperature probes available. I have...
