Re: BCS Roadmap
Ran into another "would be kinda nice to have" yesterday. I was doing some testing and watching the gauges for changes. I think, due to my network setup, the browser locked up on me a couple times. So the nice to have, would be some kind of a very simple graphic on the screen that changes/...

Re: Alarm without state change
I have thought about using one of the outputs to drive an external alarm... like a light or buzzer.
Not sure if that adds more options?

Re: BCS Roadmap
Gbrewer - I agree that a printed manual from ECC wouldn't make much sense at this point. My request was a way to print the current wiki myself. I'm OK with the idea of printing it myself and know there may be a more updated version online before the paper even cools down, but I like to "scan&qu...

Re: BCS Roadmap
I'd be happy to help with any clarification or system examples I can in the wiki... once I have enough experience to have anything to contribute ;) I understand the advantage of the wiki. I'd like to have a hard copy to scan, but LOVE having the most current documentation just a click away. Was I co...

Re: BCS Roadmap
Nice List!!! Personally, I'd like to request a bit of a strategy change in the documentation... I know all the answers are in the wiki, but for the life of me I have a heck of a time navigating it. I start looking, and it's like jumping into a rabbit hole... I find myself bouncing from page to page ...

Baron Ken,
Do you have a link to the panel mount cat 5 jack you used in your build?
Thanks,
Ed

Re: Idea for Alert/Alarm/Popup Features
So this thread got me thinking about actually using the alarm and I tested my system today. No alarm at all sounded. With the default alarm shouldn't it just go by itself. I had it set to loop and nothing happens. On a Mac if that makes any difference. I had to find a MP3 file that could be referen...

Re: Idea for Alert/Alarm/Popup Features
Alarms sound on state change... it would be nice to be able to specify the alarm sound in the state as opposed to a single alarm setup.

Re: Idea for Alert/Alarm/Popup Features
This forum is not HBT... looks like some questions go without being answered. Also, the traffic is pretty light, so not a lot of people see your question.
I agree, I'd like to see more options for alarms.

Re: BCS Power Supply?
I ordered a din rail mount receptacle to plug the wall wort into.
I have to say, I'm disappointed that I have to make room for a receptacle and the wall wort. The problem is that the BCS operates between 6 and 10vdc. 5 volt and 12 volt supplies are very common.
