Yes, you do change the Duty Cycle Directly on the Main Control Panel Out Widget.

The 482 does not support 4-20ma yet.

Re: BCS 482 Hard Fail: Lost Connection

Well the restore took some time. First Restore Failed. I powered off the BCS 482 and got the classic fail with all Outs on. I did a manual Reset to Defaults and then Restored. That worked.

Re: BCS 482 Hard Fail: Lost Connection

11/28/2018 11:02 I was using the Process Editor to tweak a few things and turning Processes off and On many times. I was changing some Intial Time Values in Process Editor for Process 1 State 3 when I lost connection. When I cycled the BCS Power Off and On, it looks like it did a Reset to Defaults. ...

Re: 32a double pole breaker for 220v circuit randomly trips

Also I think your breaker is too small.

6000w / 220 = 27.27 amps

27.27 * 1.25 = 34.08

Rule of thumb For continuous load, Regular CB must be rated at 125% of continuous load.

Again, I am not an electrician, so take with grain of salt.

Re: 32a double pole breaker for 220v circuit randomly trips

You can reset a Hot breaker and have it hold. At least I did. I am not an Electrician, but practical experience. I recently had to upgrade all my wire for a 5500 W x 220 vac Element. I was running AWG 8 but upgraded to AWG 6 and so far that seems to work, I had found a bad burnt 30 amp DP contractor...

Re: BCS 482 Hard Fail: Lost Connection

I think I might have contributed to the failures as I had restored a Keg Cleaning Process (Process 7) that might have been from a 462 Backup. I know that restoring a Backup from a 462 to 482 will cause these exact issues where editing the Process Editor causes a failure. I restored both the Process ...

Re: 1st Brew Day- Alarm Question

You have 3 choices for the Alarm: None Short Loop These all occur upon Exit of a State. The None is just that "None". The Short Alarm sounds for just 3 seconds and then stops. The Loop continues until you do something to silence it. You can use Ladder Logic, a Din with a Switch ( I use a P...

Re: HowTo: Voice control of BCS with Amazon Alexa

Until you get the openHAB code, I am hoping to have two states "turned on" with the same command. I modified JonW code (mostly by creating variables) so that I can use Alexa to jump to a different State with the Voice command. It works very well. The following code jumps to my “Obtain Stri...

Re: BCS 482 Hard Fail: Lost Connection

11/08/18 11:52 I was using the Process Editor to change some Setpoints in Process 7: States 1-7 (All Hysteresis on Out # 6) State 0 has no Setpoints. I changed them from 145 to 160 and changed swing from 4 to 2. I changed the Exit on State 1 to Exit on Temp Probe 2 => 140 to => 160 I then decided to...
