Re: BCS Roadmap
There's always new stuff on the drawing board, and we'll continue to expand our offerings. But things move very slow, so nothing close to being on the calendar. The highest priority right now is to enable current BCS-460 and BCS-462 controllers with volume control, and also expand the HMI feature se...

Re: BCS-462 acting wierd after update to 3.4.5
I believe the electronics-salon 5V 2relay boards are spec'ed at 200ma Power Supply: 5V DC / 200mA (relay all ON). But you may have gotten different ones, they come in all shapes and sizes. I received your BCS yesterday, and verified that had a blown regulator. Sounds like you were over the max 300ma...

Re: BCS Roadmap
Yes, those level switches look like they'll work, the BCS supports switches through discrete inputs (DINS). To integrate a level switch, simply wire one terminal to the BCS +5VDC pin, and the other terminal to a DIN pin. While the switch is open, the DIN is off, and when the switch is closed the DIN...

Re: BCS-462 acting wierd after update to 3.4.5
What exactly did you have powered by the BCS +5VDC? Any expansion cards, relay cards, displays, lights, switches, etc?

Ok. Since this sounds like a hardware issue the best way forward is to send it back for a checkout. I'll PM you the details.

Re: BCS-462 acting wierd after update to 3.4.5
noticed 5v dual relay board not powered... GND to +5V on BCS shows 0.00V... unplugged power supply from BCS, shows 6.16V.. (and obviously, it works because we can get into BCS) Ok, we're getting closer. The problem seems to be that the 5V supply on your BCS isn't working. There are 2 supplies, one ...

Re: Updating Firmware
So if you have the BCS plugged into your laptop (direct connect), is the IP address that you enter start with 169.254....etc? This has confused many people. Your laptop running the tftp updater actually has many IP address, in fact one per ethernet adapter. If your laptop has a wireless adapter and ...
