Re: External 7 segment displays
I initially screwed up cutting my holes as I did outlines of the outer lens, then marked the size of the LCD inside that box. Then when I went to cut it, I followed the wrong line! I ended up just cutting out a larger rectangle and then made the aluminum front plate to mount them on. Another friend ...

Re: External 7 segment displays
I have 3 of these installed in my enclosure. I had originally planned on having them display my two serving kegerators and my fermenter when not brewing and then change them to display my HLT, MLT & BK on brew day. Since I have a touchscreen setup for brew day, I just leave all 3 setup to my fri...

Re: E-stop!
Just plug the BCS power supply into the same 110V supply you are running through the E-stop. You'll then cut all power to the BCS at the same time.

Re: Graphics not loading on Main control Page
If your ipod is working fine, then the problem isn't the BCS. My guess would be some antivirus/firewall doing some filtering.

Re: O.K. Combrewter
Did you have any problem with pump cavitation? Not that I've noticed. The pumps seemed to be fully primed by the time I start them. FWIW, these are the newer morebeer issued "high flow" pumps, which, according to their website, "features a different slightly higher flow rate with les...

Re: O.K. Combrewter
Do you have a liquid flow diagram? I take it you are not recirculating your HLT water (at least that's what I gather from what I can tell with the valve configuration). How are you monitoring your HLT temp if it's not recirculating?

Re: O.K. Combrewter
Very nice! Do you undo all those tri clovers at the end of the brew session or do you leave the common rail & valves in place?

Re: Notification
The problem with this is that what you want to send notifications for would be unlimited. e.g. when a timer runs out, when a timer hits a certain time, when a temp hits a certain time, when a process starts or stops, etc. Because of this, you would need a full rule building interface just like the c...

Re: Connection Issue Post v3.4 install BCS-460
It sounds to me that the BCS unit isn't able to communicate to the laptop. Are you sure that the TFTP server can properly accept requests? Is the TFTP server listening on port 69? Is anything else already listening on port 69? Is there antivirus or a firewall that may be blocking access to port 69? ...
