Mine works fine. Do you have Process 2 in a Coil Slot of the Ladder Logic? I have found that to be an issue as you lose all control of the Process except through Ladder Logic.

Re: Condensing my Boil Process Down

You can re-use timers at each state, so each hop time can reset as the states progress. I personally use one process just for additions. I have a boil process that once it reaches boil, then the boil process kicks off the hop addition process. I feel it is cleaner and easier to manage with separate...

Re: BCS 482 Not working correctly

I have not had the issue with the wrong Process Starting or Stopping so it may be operator error. Here is a link to the 482 Backup:

Re: BCS 482 Not working correctly

I have found issues with the 482 when you use a 462 file to restore. It has an issue that cause is to fail to an “All Outs On” mode that is more prevelant in a 462 Restore, but also happens without a restore. I would suggest that you Reset to Factory Defaults using the 15 second reset by holding dow...

Re: Differential Setpoint for Glycol Cooled Fermenter

This is a graph of my method where I have the Glycol at 34 and the Fermentor at 54.

AS you can see, the Glycol bath does not cycle very often and hold the 54 very well in the fermentor. It is a 30 gal Brewer's Hardware one.

Re: BCS Not Connecting Issue

10/29/2018 11:01 CDT My BCS 482 once again lost connection and all Out were on once again. I was doing some cleaning so some processes were running. While not immediate, the only thing I had done"out of normal" was that I used the Temp Setpoint Adjustment Page to change setpoints in 3 diff...

Re: HowTo: Voice control of BCS with Amazon Alexa

I use it. It works great. I am going to look into a dynamic DNS as they keep changing my Public IP. Looks like some significant code changes in V3 as to how it works. Without knowing much, it looks like V3 would handle setpoints much better than V2.

I am still on V2
