I have a very simple cooling on/off process running on a newly purchased BCS-462 running 3.7
I have had an original 460 and just recently sold a 462 in order to build a new system. So I am familiar and comfortable programming processes, etc.
The first thing I bought was this new 462. I am reusing my probes from my previous 462 that I got from Brewer's hardware.
I have my hysteresis for my kegerator set to 46F +/- 1F. However it has been rising to almost 49F (48.6F) before it is kicking on. Because of the nature, I expect it may drop more than 1F below the setpoint when cooling (it is getting down to as cold as 43.8), but I cannot figure out why it is not turning on right at 47F.
The probe was being erratic, so I have it connected to an earth ground (like I have had to do in the past), and the temp is not jumping wildly... it does seem linear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... I don't want crazy compressor cycles (length or frequency) to toast my kegerator!
I just started using this on Friday if it helps.

Some screen shots of your setup would help.
Did you import the config from the 460 to the 462 or set it up from scratch?
