Currently having issues with the 7 segment displays. They power up just fine and go through their self test, but they are not seeing communication from the BCS. The addresses have been set and the BCS has been enabled for them, but still nothing!

The next message in that thread said that upgrading to 3.4.5 fixed the problem. If you really want to eliminate 3.7.1 as a potential problem, put 3.4.5 on your BCS. That was always my go-to version when I would test stuff.

Version 3.4.5 no longer appears to have the firmware files available on wiki.

I flashed to 3.4.5......and the 7seg is still acting the same.

Start up seems normal
v 6.6.2
addr: 2a

display 0 "enabled" in BCS...and applied

I've also reset the controller for good measure

Triple checked all wiring including the ground from v- to BCS GND to 7seg GND

....default led is still flashing that it is not getting any data
Screen on 7 seg is dark

any other suggestions?

What was the ultimate resolution to this issue? I'm currently looking at a similar set of presenting symptoms.
