5 vdc Power
5 vdc Power
I think my on board 5 vdc output is dead. Can I use an external 5 vdc for the DINs? And if so, what kind?

Re: 5 vdc Power
So, your normal outputs still activate with 5V, but you're saying that the continuous 5V output terminal is dead? That seems pretty odd since I would expect that the continuous terminal would be tied right to the voltage regulator.

I might need to buy a new multimeter then. I did not try to read an Out, but the 5 vdc Out is "0". The Multi meter is Coco ( "C" of Chinese Orgin). I am rewiring the BCS and moving it so that I can get to it. I had it hung where no child could get to it. Unfortunately, I am also a Child.

I bought a little LED Voltage gauge and it read 4.46. Throwing the cheap Coco muti meter away!
