Hey would ya look at that, never even saw that down there. Well I've given up on this for the night. I gotta think it has something to do with my router. I feel like I have everything configured but it just won't work. Tried it on my phone, had my brother try it from another state, nothing.

Hah it was more of me asking questions than me making a write-up but I'll take it. I ended installing a program called "team viewer" that let's you remote desktop to your machine from anywhere you have the program installed. There is also an app for my phone so I can log onto my home computer (as long as it is on of course which it always is). I'd like to start turning my hot water on before I leave work to save a bit of time on my brew days mostly.
