I just loaded firmware 4. Thanks, it looks nice.
I'm not able to use the variable feature.
I insert two variables for MASH_TEMP and BOIL_TEMP. And assign them to a process output
The recipe utility page shows the correct IP address.
I hit save, and I get a "Loading data from BCS" message
When the page loads no variables are found
4.0 variables won't save

Re: 4.0 variables won't save
Also, BCS Finder doesn't work any more.
I think I am on the same segment as the BCS, Not sure how to tell?
Thanks

Re: 4.0 variables won't save
There's a new Finder app for 4.0, you can find it in the documentation: http://docs.embeddedcc.com/finder/
From the details you provided I can't tell what's happening in the recipe utility. Can you provide a screenshot of the Variable Setup tab after you added the variables?

See attached jpg images.
First I add a variable and hit save Next The system says "Loading data from BCS" Next The variable is gone

Re: 4.0 variables won't save
Do you have cookies disabled? It uses local storage for the variables, which is disabled if cookies are disabled.

I have set firefox to always accept third party cookies
Re: 4.0 variables won't save
It looks like this was a bug specific to FireFox. It should work now.
