Temp probe reading wildly high (177°F)
Temp probe reading wildly high (177°F)
My bottle conditioning fridge, which I usually keep in the mid 60s, is reading wildly high. Should it be replaced or adjusted? My bottle conditioning fridge was set at 65F, and one day I noticed that it was constantly running. It almost froze the bottles, yet it showed the current temp at 177°F. Switch out the probe?

Re: Temp probe reading wildly high (177°F)
I would first switch the probe to another BCS port just to ensure the problem follows the probe and is not an issue with that specific BCS port.
It's possible the probe has gone bad. I would also check the coefficients set in the BCS to ensure something there has not been corrupted.
Have you updated to 4.0 yet?
