POST /temp/{probe}

Post by smort » Mon Apr 10, 2017 4:27 pm

Looking at the API library for the first time and noticed the POST /temp/{probe} function. Can I use this to send a temperature reading (from an ESP8266) to one of my unused BCS sensors? Im unable to test now but if its the case that would save me from running 10 meters of sensor wire.

No, that is a read-only value and is only settable internally from the BCS.
