Help! It may be dead

Hi all, I hope you can help. Fired up our system one day and we could not talk with our bcs controller. Sorry for the long winded but this is what we have tried.
Our 3 year old setup all of a sudden would no longer connect to the BCS controller. Checked the network IP and saw no issues. After multiple attempts at connecting we decided to restart initial setup as an attempt to get everything back up and running. Started by resetting up the router in client mode and with using the BCS finder could never get that IP address to pull anything up. Again after multiple attempts doing that still no success. So then tried setting up the router in AP mode to use as a stand alone router. Seemed successful as it immediately saw the computer and set it as 192.168.0.100 in the client list, so then moved to finding the BCS. Restarted the router with the BCS unplugged. Plugged BCS back in but it never showed up on the client list. Again tried this multiple times with no success. Tried going to 192.168.0.101 as that should be the next assigned IP and still nothing. PLEASE HELP. With this beautiful piece of equipment hanging on our wall staring at up we have been reduced to analog brewing.
