BCS 482 Problems

Post by MiguelG »

My bcs 482 has recently crashed. This is not the first time it has done this. However, this time I am unable to do a flash on it with the drivers/software provided on this site. The controller is now constantly turning on two outputs and the rest are dead. I can still see all of the temp probes regardless of which port i plug them into. Any help would be great.

Can you clarify for me: when you say crashed, you mean you can't get to the web interface? Have you done a reset on it ? (not flashing, but holding the reset button while powering on). If the memory got corrupted, that can cause the outputs to turn on and resetting it will clear it. If you've done all this, give the guys at Brewers Hardware a call and you can probably send it in to have it looked at.

I did a reset and it came back online, back on the web interface. The outputs still don't work and two of them are constantly. I reached out to Brewers hardware already and they said to reach out to you.
