Trying to connect to BC462

Post by DDavi280 »

haven,t used system in a couple years and now i have issues finding the system. I have read some of the similar threads with no success on using those links. where can I get the older BCS finder? or is that even the problem. This is an older version of 462 close to first coming out. I am adding some clover connections and wanting to simplify my processes to start brewing regularly again. any help very appreciated.

If it is an older BCS, then you're probably on the 3.x firmware. You can download the old finder at the link below:

I would highly suggest loading the new firmware for it once you find it on your network. If you previously had the BCS on a static IP and your current network is not the some IP numbering, you'll want to do a full reset on the BCS so it will grab a DHCP address. If it is already on DHCP, you can usually log into your router and see what IP addresses have been assigned and find it in the list there.

You need to backup your processes first, then do the update, then you can restore/migrate using the 4.x utilities.
