BCS Reset?

Post by bsquared »

I've been successfully brewing with my BCS460 for several months now, controlling a 120VAC Herms system, but recently decided to set up a 240VAC heating element. I have two SSR controlling the 240 legs, and three SSR controlling the rest of the 120 pumps .I was Finishing the last of the re-wire, and connecting all the SSR's but now the BCS is completely non-responsive. I'm not sure what I did or to do next. any Ideas to get my BCS back up an running? I basically have it wired up exactly the same but have one more SSR, added to the the 0Dout, so two SSR that are controlled by the one discreet out put.

We're handling this via email, but if anyone is wondering what to do if you find yourself in a similar situation:
  1. Disconnect all of the I/O (green plugs)
  2. Do a Hard Reset
  3. Power Cycle
  4. Try to locate the BCS using the BCSfinder utility
  5. If you're still not connecting and/or see no activity with the network lights, send us an email. We can usually repair/replace them.
