Reset switch on 462

Post by ddorsett »

I inadvertantly set an invalid static IP address and need to reset my 462. The wiki claims the reset switch is accessible via access hole in side at a slight upwards angle, but apparently I haven't been able to hit it and don't get any feedback sensation of a "switch"-- how deep is the switch and how much "upwards" of the access hole?

Well, I fixed my network setting by resetting my computer's IP to the same subnet as the BCS and connecting through a separate switch to be able to get to the BCS controller web page, so no need for the reset switch. I'd still like to know where to expect the switch to be, tho!

Its in there! Its just at a slight angle up. If you are having issues you can always pull the faceplate off to take a peek. Its possible that the access hole on your unit may have wandered a bit..
