I've read the wiki and still can't seem to update my firmware. I'm using a Mac OSX 10.6.7 directly connected to the BCS-460 via ethernet port.
The steps I've done:
1. Downloaded "Bsc460.bin" to my desktop
2. Opened Tftp Sever Client
3. I then click "Firmware Update" on the settings page of the BCS-460 and enter the IP Adress shown on the Tftp Client 192.168.52.87
Nothing happens and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My IP for BCS-460 is 169.254.0.3 which is directly connected to my computer. My wireless card is also turned off during this process.
Thanks

I'm not familiar with the Mac TftpServer, but my guess is that your client IP address is incorrect.
Your computer can have multiple IP addresses, one for each of its Ethernet adapters. If your BCS has address of 169.254.0.3, and it is communicating with your computer, the computer most likely has another address in the 169.254.xxx.xxx range. Open up a command line and type 'ifconfig' (or ipconfig, not sure on macs).. Look for an address in this range, and type that into the BCS dialog box.

Okay I got it to work by entering the IP Address of the ethernet port and all is good now.
