iPhone temp readings differ from web interface

Post by shroomzofdoom »

Hi all, brand new BCS460 user. Just looking to get started with monitoring and logging temps on a single temp probe. Got everything connected and my iPhone app installed. Water temp reads 50.1 F on the web interface and 63.7F on the iPhone interface. Why the discrepancy?

Thanks all for any input.

Bah, nevermind...I had my authentication messed up so the iPhone was displaying the results of a previous test/sync. Once corrected, I am able to view the accurate probe readings!

ECC. Thanks for the great product and all the useful documentation. Got mine a few weeks ago and just getting started

A quick question if I still have your attention---I noticed that the alarm mp3 doesn't work in the browser, which you indicate may be addressed in a future release. But I searched for 'notification, alarm, etc' and couldn't find this...

Any way to do a pop/notification on either the html page or iPhone app when a temperature is reached or state change occurs? It would be nice to get an alert when my strike temp is reached.
