Displaying negative temps on Data Log page

Post by dtfeld »

On the Data Log page I'm trying to use -5 to 105 for left Max/Min Y and log the output controlling the fermenter compressor to log the on/off cycles of the compressor, as it displays as either 0 (off) or 100 (on). If I use 0/100, I cant see the horizontal line.

When I hit apply, the -5 changes to 251. As long as i don't hit Apply, the -5 displays just fine both in the input window and on the graph. However, this prevents me from spawning an additional logger with this display.

I've confirmed this bug. Saving the range is limited to 0-255 due to the internal storage format of the BCS, this is documented in the wiki. However this limitation does not apply to dynamic updates. The bug is that the minimum axis field should be editable in a spawned data log. This will be fixed in the next release.
