Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
Very Nice.
Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
It's probably obvious, but the 8 controllable outputs is only on a BCS-462. BCS-460 still only has 6.
Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
Any updates on release or an extended beta test?
Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
I just used my BCS460 for the first time on Saturday and while it went well it would have been so much easier with this new interface. I can't wait to get my hands on this. Any idea when??

Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
I see on the Twitter feed that you are looking for more beta testers. If you are still looking I'd be interested.

Re: BCS 4.0 Alpha Preview
For those that wish to participate in the beta, please note that there is no hand-holding here. As you can see from the screenshots I posted, the current beta's also do not include any HMI (yes it is coming).
If you are just now building your system or you are new to relays, wiring, programming, TFTP and networks, the beta is NOT for you. If you use the beta, you are expected to report back any issues or bugs you may find. Reporting a bug on a Thursday does not mean it will get fixed on Friday for your brew day on Saturday. Having said that, there are several of us that are brewing regularly with the beta's, so we don't expect any showstoppers for people.
If you wish to participate in the beta, please send a PM with the following:
- How long have you been a BCS user?
- Briefly describe your technical proficiency.

Point taken! I'm a tech geek by trade but I think I am better off running with the standard setup for now. For now....
