Countdown timers

Post by bbrally »

Would it be possible in a future update to make the countdown timers continue counting into negative values instead of stopping at zero?

None of the counters are currently done with signed math, so it would be a signifcant change. What is the application?

It wasn't for a specific application, but for example, when boiling, I have the timer counting down from 60 minutes and then sounding an alarm and waiting for user input to start the next state.

I thought it would be nice to see the time since the countdown finished if I got distracted somewhere else and wasn't able to get back right away.

I know this could be accomplished by starting an up timer after the down timer completed. Easily done, just another something to program that I thought could be ccomplished by a negative counter.
