Looks like OSX doesn't like the (C) copyright character. I've removed that and will do another build. Looks like there's still something else though relating to object visibility. We'll converse in PM to keep the lengthy debug posts out of this thread.Jcc4507fly wrote:Below is from when I run the file until when it eventually fails (About 5-10min??):

To be honest, I quit trying to run it in terminal using Mono. I downloaded a free Mac App called Winebottler. It allows me to click on your .exe file and run it within the Wine app. Works great! Here is a link to it: http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/

Got it. Yes, that is another solution. Winebottler has Mono embedded in it. I'm going to see if maybe I can find someone with a Mac I can borrow for a bit to get this working on native OSX+Mono. However, Winebottler is an easy solution.Jcc4507fly wrote:To be honest, I quit trying to run it in terminal using Mono. I downloaded a free Mac App called Winebottler. Wow this looks amazing. I will be ordering my BCS482s soon. I am a Mac and a PC user, so I would be happy to test out any Mac issues that you want to troubleshoot. Let me know what you want to have tested. I have a MacBook Pro laptop running Yosemite 10.10.3 but I can upgrade to El Capitan if you need that, just been lazy and keep clicking "later" .

I'm going to be borrowing a Mac from a friend so I can get the OSX requirements figured out. In the interim, it appears that the Winebottler approach is working pretty good.

Any estimate on when the V 1.0.0 will be coming out?

Re: BCS Desktop App (V 0.5.0) for Windows, Linux, Mac & Rpi
It is several months away. There is a very long list of features being added with a lot of inter-dependencies, so it doesn't make sense to do incremental releases. I wanted to put out the current version for people to use in the interim.

I have updated the first two posts of this thread to add Mac/OSX support information.
Performance was excellent on an older Mac Mini Core 2 Duo with OSX 10.10.5 (Yosemite).
