Panel almost done.. switches on side or front?

Post by clearwaterbrewer »

I was looking at Budzu's panel http://www.embeddedcontrolconcepts.com/ ... 91d8a994bb.
I have the same thing but not in stainless (I love me some stainless, but it was free...)

I am about to put on the switches, 5 3-position ones from automation direct, and was going to put them on the front, but this build makes me wonder which I should do... thoughts?

Nice panel. I think they would look good on the side or on the front (sorry, not much help).

I put the switches on the front near the top... spaced the 22mm holes 2" apart got me two rows of 4, I marked and punched all 8, but only drilled three on the top for heat and 2 on the 2nd row for the pumps... this gets plenty of clearance for the switch contacts in the back.. I decided to do it here as I am going to need the side for more outlets!

no comments on my original Xbox wireless adapter? :-( I thought it was uber cool!
