General question about wiring temp probes
General question about wiring temp probes
Probably a stupid question, but where does the second wire from the temp probes go? More specifically, does it need to go to the BCS GND port, the common ground for the chassis (earth ground), or a neutral port? Can I have multiple temp probes all coming to the same ground wire through a terminal block and then returning to the answer to the first question through a shared wire?

Re: General question about wiring temp probes
Wire the temp probes to one of the GND connections right next to the temp probe connections on the BCS. All grounds are shared, so you can attach to any of them or even wire up a terminal strip for the connections if you wish.
Also ensure that you place a jumper from one of the BCS ground (GND) connections to an actual earth ground (from an AC outlet). This will stabilize the temperature probes.

Thanks Jon. If I am ever in your neck of the woods I owe you at least one beer!
