Hi,
i'm a newby in electric/electronic matter so I wonder if this board is suitable for the bcs.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Slim-Panel-Moun ... 2ee33a75ff

I have another question about this relay board: can I trig a channel with +5 (from bcs) and another one with +12 (from a selector in my panel)

Thank you

Look at their PDF spec sheet. Those relay boards have a specific input trigger range. You would need the PA1a-5V board to have the BCS trigger it. You could then have your panel switches using 5V as well. No need to mix voltages.

Thank You, Jonw.
Just another question: can I trig 2 contact with one bcs output without overload it?
Thanks
Luca

That depends on the current draw of the relay. That actually brings up a question about the relay board you linked.

I looked up the PDF specs and that board states it needs 25ma of current for each relay. That is too much for the BCS. YOU CANNOT USE THAT BOARD!

You need a board that uses low current triggers instead of directly driven (powered) relays.

that one (or a 12v one) will work fine, many of us have purchased form 'electronic-salon' and are happy.

*remember, you will need a power supply to power that board, you cannot power it with the BCS.
