New Temp Sensor Replacements/Support

Post by scottwilson71 »

Hi everyone,

Have just taken over operation of a new 7BBL system and after upgrading the glycol system I am trying to replace all the tank temperature sensors (6 x FV's, 2 x BBT's). Temp monitoring is using a BCS-462.

I'm finding that there is no product support for replacement sensors as neither of the recommended suppliers have any stock of temperature sensors.

Can anyone recommend where else I can source sensors please, without having to make my own :-)

Preferably looking for 12" sensor length suitable for 1/4" compression fittings.

Thanks in advance,
Scott

Scott,

I have two 12" temp probes I bought from BrewersHardware, a few years ago that I am not using if you are interested. They have a M8 disconnect on the end of each probe.

I inquired with Brewers Hardware today on the availability and they informed me they're about 2 weeks out from being restocked on the pre-made probes. They do have all the components for making your own.
