Working with 220VAC power.

Sorry for the vanilla post, but I am nowhere near an electrician and I need some guidance. I'm living in Korea and working on 220V. I assume as far as plugging the BCS into the wall I can just get another transformer rated 110-240V.
What should my other concerns be? Should I use 220VAC elements? 240?
I'm not quite sure the wiring standards for Korea either.
Sorry for the lack of information here, really I could just use a nudge in the right direction of where I should be looking/researching.
