sensor database?

Post by clearwaterbrewer »

Is there, or does anyone want to help build a list of various 10K thermistors that work good with BCS.

I was thinking of having items such as the ones available at the ecc store , and also which ones at places like digi-key, and even off-the shelf low buck devices that may have an interesting probe shape/size/material..

I have used these with a black plastic bead

and these with a screw lug.

I had a remote pool/spa thermometer that the electronics died on and i scavenged the 6' white plastic bead probe off of, but seemed to be 5K, and maxed out the BCS resistance of 98936.1 below 40 degrees, but calibrated fine above that using the capgo site.

I would like a source for inexpensive 1/8" stainless probes, maybe one of the little pocket thermometers uses thermistor?

maybe there are others that we can share?

This is a great idea. I'll start a wiki page for this.
