External 7 segment displays
Re: External 7 segment displays
Both. The BCS ground, display ground, and 12v power supply ground should be connected.

I also plan on using a few of these for my fermentation control system. Can only four still be used? Ideally I would like to be able to have 8 running....one for each of the temperature probes...?
I know this would be quite pricey but is this possible?
4 - Fermenters
1 - Brite tank
1 - enclose temperature
1 - Glycol temperature
1 - Heating fluid temperature
It's pretty unlikely I would have them all running at the same time but it would be sweet to have the option!

Re: External 7 segment displays
The current firmware only supports 4 displays. It is pretty easy to swap which temp is being displayed on them though. I put 3 of them on my system and had originally planned on using them for refrigeration most of the time and for brew rig temps only on brew days. Since I have the computer up and running for the brew day, I don't bother swapping them over and just leave them setup for refrigeration all the time now.
