plugs in the side of the box should have stain relief... in the bottom it is not needed

I don't see a lot of nice, yet inexpensive options for low-voltage connectors... this is what I would probably use for your gas valves...

either qty 2 of the 2-pin, or one 3-pin, and split at the valves..


if you have the SSR's mounted to the metal chassis, there is no way a 250 or 40A SSR is going to generate enough heat at less than 3 amps to cause itself damage..

I have never seen DC 24 volt gas valves, but I've only been replacing them for 28 years. I would keep the line voltage away from low voltage stuff, mine is in two different boxes. I only have two ssr now running my gas valves and don't notice any heat issues. I don't have my pump, hood or hlt stirrer controlled via my bcs. Todd
