Gas valve clicking

Post by CJKogut » Thu Mar 31, 2011 5:00 am

My BCS-460 seems to be pulsing the output 0 every few minutes for a split second. It does this while no processes or manual functions are being used. Its not enough to really do anything except flash the relay's pilot light and make the gas valve click. While a process is under way, everything seems to work normally. Its just a nuisance click that makes me worry about wear and tear on the gas valve.

Any ideas on the cause or the solution?

What firmware are you using? There was a bug in v3.2 and earlier that caused the output to turn on for a brief period once every Output Period if the period was set greater than 10s. Should be fixed in v3.3 though.
