Observer Password Allowing Changes

Post by mjo2125 » Thu Sep 06, 2018 3:13 pm

I tested my Observer password by logging on as an Observer and once in, the BCS is allowing changes which is not what I want for an observer. Is there something I'm missing in the setup?

I don't recall ever hearing anyone say theirs didn't work as designed.

What is your firmware version?

I tried this with 4.1.2 build edf0fe2c

It will NOT allow any changes at ALL. If you try to do anything other than look, it comes up with the Login Screen. You can Login with the Admin Password and the change is made. If you try to use the BCS password, it loses connection. That basically kicks you out. So it works in 4.1.2 build edf0fe2c
