My understanding is that the hardware are identical, and all you need to do is a firmware upgrade which is software only.
Check out the Brew Buddy for iphone controlling your bcs-460.

I've updated the wiki with the v2.1 firmware.
This firmware has been shipping for a while, but I've just now got around to adding it to the wiki. v2.1 doesn't add any significant features from v2.0, with the exception of support for mulitple expansion cards. It also fixes a bug that would allow v1.x config files to be read in (v1.x config files are NOT compatible with v2.x firmware). So if you are already running v2.0, and don't need the multiple expansion card support, no real reason to upgrade.
