If Intranet/Web goes down?

Post by brwmstr3 »

Will I still have manual control over my in process brewing if my intranet service is interrupted or fails?
Or if my computer shuts down?
Do I need to be connected to the intranet to operate your BCS?

Thanks,

Couple of things.... an "intranet" is YOUR internal network. The INTERNET is the world wide web. No internet connection is needed at all.

The BCS has it's own processor and handles it's own logic. The PC is merely used as the interface to see what is happening on the BCS or to alter programming or to activate/deactivate things manually. If you are in the middle of the brew day and your PC restarts, it would have no effect on the BCS.
