Spare BCS-462

Post by Joyride-Brewing »

Does anyone keep a spare programmed BCS in case of a failure of their system?
We have a new 10 BBL commercial brewery in Denver going on-line next week or so, so I'm wondering if we should have a spare on hand ready to go?

For a home system, I would say it's not needed. For a commercial system, I would say definitely. They're inexpensive enough that it's cheap insurance.

Thanks for the input Jon, seems like a good backup plan to me also and will update as we get a few months under our belt with the BCS system controlling everything.
