Anyone using a BCS in the UK?

Post by leedsbrew »

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone here is using the BCs in the uk? I take it the unit uses US voltage? would something like this or this be appropriate for using the BCS with 240V?

Thanks

You would just need a transformer that gets the correct dc voltage, 5V i believe. No need for a transformer from 220->110, just go directly to dc, at least that's what I would try to do. :) Once you find a transformer that's the right voltage get busy using wire cutters and soldering iron if you can't find one that has the right tip. :)

YMMV

Here are the specs:

The voltage/current looks good on the power supply that you linked. I don't see the connector sizes anywhere in the datasheet, but you can always cut off the one that comes with the BCS like np0x suggests.
